One case of norovirus has been confirmed at the Regional Psychiatric Centre in Saskatoon.
On Monday, a patient at the centre showed the flu-like symptoms associated with the virus. On Tuesday, officials at the centre confirmed one case of norovirus.

A Correctional Service of Canada news release says there may be more cases of the virus at the centre. Public health and corrections staff are waiting on further test results of more unconfirmed cases.
The psychiatric hospital provides programming, treatment and care to individuals from provincial and federal justice systems. There are 193 patients now receiving assessment or care at the centre.
Regular scheduled visits to the centre are cancelled at this time and the regular institutional routine will return to normal when it is safe to do so.
