TORONTO – Team Canada announced the 25 members of the men’s hockey team for the Sochi Olympics, and players along with Canadian fans were quick to react online.

In fact, salesforce.com‘s Marketing Cloud collected data showing P.K. Subban was the player with the most mentions on social media with more than 2,000. Sidney Crosby came next with more than 1,300 mentions.

“We recognize the difficult decisions we had to make,” Yzerman said, highlighting the depth of talent his team had to choose from for the Olympic roster.
Tuesday marks the one-month countdown to the beginning of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, and the #TeamCanada hashtag was used more than 11,000 times on Twitter in the two hours following the announcement, according to the salesforce.com data.
