TORONTO — Veteran actor Nick Nolte will be in Canada soon to work on the American adaptation of the acclaimed British TV drama Broadchurch.

Cameras are set to roll on Gracepoint in Victoria and Vancouver from Jan. 20 until the end of April.

Oak Bay Village on Vancouver Island will stand-in for the titular California coastal town torn apart by the mysterious death of a young boy.

The cast also includes David Tennant — who starred in the original version — as well as Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), Michael Peña (American Hustle), Josh Hamilton (American Horror Story: Coven), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Kevin Rankin (Breaking Bad) and Virginia Kull (The Following).

Canadian actor Kevin Zegers also stars in the eight-part series, which is due to air in the fall of 2014.

Broadchurch aired in Canada earlier this year on Showcase.
