SASKATOON – SaskTel’s internet customers are going to have to pay a bit more soon.

By February, the monthly price of many of its packages will rise by five dollars.

Spokeswoman Michelle Englot says SaskTel hasn’t increased internet rates in over five years, while continuing to invest heavily in its network.

The change will affect roughly 70,000 customers.
