SASKATOON – It’s a busy day for parcel delivery workers as last minute deliveries are being made from coast to coast. FedEx Canada is receiving delivery requests today which will be delivered just in time for Christmas Day.
FedEx has had a record breaking month in December. In the first week, the company made 85 million deliveries across Canada, an increase of 13 per cent over last year.

The extreme weather in eastern Canada doesn’t seem to be a hurdle for deliveries at this time. Meteorologists are keeping on eye out on the ice storm and redirecting routes if needed.
“They have been able to plan around the weather they’ve had in the east coast and through Toronto. So we have all of our arrivals just as planned today. We’ve been working really hard the last two weeks to make sure you have all your Christmas products on time”, said Natasha King, the FedEx’s manager of the Saskatoon operation.
King says it’s all hands on deck at FedEx Saskatoon as they will work right up until Christmas Eve to make sure presents are delivered right on time for the big day.
