Doctor charged with third count of sexual assault involving patients

TORONTO – Toronto police have charged a doctor with a third count of sexual assault involving patients at medical clinics.

Investigators say a 23-year-old woman alleged she was sexually assaulted during an appointment at the Yorkwood Medical Clinic between March 15 and April 15.

Javad Peirovy, 40, of Toronto, has been charged with sexual assault.

Police say it’s the third charge against the doctor, who worked at several clinics in the city.

Peirovy is also charged with sexually assaulting women at two other Toronto clinics.
