Kelowna Rockets down Saskatoon Blades 7-1

SASKATOON – Carter Rigby struck twice as Kelowna blasted the Blades 7-1.

Mitchell Wheaton scored and added three assists for the Rockets, while Rourke Chartier had a goal as part of a three-point night.

Zach Franko, Tyson Baillie and Myles Bell rounded out the attack for Kelowna, while Jackson Whistle turned aside 27 shots.

Chase Clayton was the lone scorer for Saskatoon and Alex Moodie made 44 saves.

Blades’ next home game is on Dec. 28 against the Prince Albert Raiders.
