TORONTO – Doug Ford borrowed a Global News microphone Wednesday to interview Santa Claus about Rob Ford.
“And Santa Claus what do you think of the mayor this Christmas?” he asked before pretending to answer for the statue.
“Oh he’s been a very good boy.”

“You see what he’s saying about the media, you guys might get coal in your stockings,” Ford joked.
Ford and his brother Mayor Rob Ford then invited members of the media to their Christmas party Wednesday night but said – in jest – they can’t bring cameras, microphones and must pass through a metal detector.
