Four people were sent to hospital following a head-on collision in Peterborough, Ont., on Saturday night.
Just before 8 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene along the North Monaghan Parkway in the west-end of the city.
Paramedics treated four people at the scene before taking them to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
According to the Peterborough Police Service, one of the victims was later transported to a Toronto hospital for further treatment.

The roadway was closed for about an hour for cleanup and the police investigation.
Police say their investigation led to the arrest of a 31-year-old Peterborough man who was charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
