WINNIPEG – Parents will be busy Tuesday morning online, on phones and in lineups as they try to get their children into coveted swimming lessons.
City of Winnipeg Leisure Guide registration for swimming starts at 8 a.m. for residents of the city. Registration for other courses starts 8 a.m. Wednesday.
In a change from past years, non-residents won’t be able to register until Dec. 17, giving Winnipeg taxpayers first shot at classes.
Many classes, especially swimming lessons, fill up within an hour of the start of registration.
