Preparations are underway to help keep some of the Okanagan’s poorest people warm this winter.
The Kelowna Gospel Mission held its fifth annual Stuff a Bus fundraiser on Saturday.
The event was held in front of the Wal-Mart store in Kelowna.
Gospel Mission staff and volunteers busily accepted hundreds of bags of warm clothing, such as toques, gloves and socks, for the homeless population.
If you would still like to donate clothing, you can do so by dropping it off at the Gospel Mission on Leon Avenue during regular business hours.
