A pair of teenagers were taken to hospital after police say they were stabbed in Montreal’s east end near the Olympic Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Montreal police say authorities were called around 1:10 p.m. to the scene at the corner of Pierre-De Coubertin and De LaSalle avenues in the city’s Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough.

In an update, police say it appears a fight devolved between two groups in an alleyway. Three teenagers were injured, though only two were rushed to hospital.
A teen boy and girl had significant but not-life-threatening injuries to their upper bodies, according to police. The victims, who are both 17 years old, were conscious at the time.
A 19-year-old man was arrested not far from the scene. He is expected to meet with investigators, according to police.
A safety perimeter was set up in the area. Forensic technicians and a canine unit were also at the scene.
