SASKATOON – Potash One Inc. has released the results of a feasibility study on its Legacy Project, which is a proposed solution mine northeast of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Mike Ferguson, vice-president of projects, says the study has come up with a capital cost of just over US$2.5 billion and average, long-term operating cost of $112 per tonne.

The study also shows an 18 per cent rate of return.

He says the Vancouver-based company hopes to get environmental approval next month and the financing in place later this year.

The goal is to have the mine up and running by mid to late 2014.
