Gentle yin yoga with Nina Hurlbert 10:30-11:30AM. All levels welcome and no experience needed. Tea Social 11:30AM-12:30PM Proceeds go to SOFIA House Yin yoga focuses on postures held for longer periods of time and various body components. Calm your mind relax your muscles and bring awareness to the breath to settle the body. All participants are invited to join the tea social after class. Come attend a yoga class make new social connections and support an important cause in our community during the month of International Women’s Day. All genders welcome. Ages 16+. SOFIA House is a second stage shelter that provides long-term secure housing with support services for women and children who are fleeing violence. We offer women’s programming children’s programming cultural programming and pre-employment programs. Families can stay as long as they need to in our secure and independent apartment suites.
