Richmond Museum presents the 15th annual Doors Open Richmond, which returns this spring as a free, in-person and online event from June 2–5, 2022. All in-person activities will take place on June 4–5, and will be complemented by virtual content available from June 2. This year’s edition features 35 sites representing the city’s cultural diversity and rich heritage, including five that are participating in Doors Open Richmond for the first time: Saint Germain Bakery, The Blue Cabin Floating Artist Residency, The Kehila Society, Immigrant Services Society of BC, and S.U.C.C.E.S.S Richmond Service Centre. A special shuttle tour on June 4 will stop at places of worship along No. 5 Road, also known as the “Highway to Heaven”: the Az-Zahraa Islamic Centre, Lingyen Mountain Temple, and the Richmond Jamia Mosque. Most in-person programs are drop-in, with some sites requiring pre-registration. Visit richmondmuseum.ca/doors-open for more information.
