Culture Tastic – Virtual Cooking Class

Food is a portal into culture, you have to taste it to understand it. ​Food is often used as an expression of cultural identity as food patterns are passed down from generation to generation. It is a way of preserving culture when we move to new places and a means of coping with homesickness. The unique cuisine from each country can reflect its history, lifestyle, values and beliefs. In the coming Culture Tastic Cooking Series, we invite you to join us to explore and celebrate culture through cooking. The meaning of food is beyond just nourishing the body, it is to inspire and deepen the bonding between communities and countries. Interactive Cooking Class (Limit to 16 participants): Participants with the pre-packaged ingredients will join the interactive cooking class. Participants will get to interact with the chef, ask questions and get feedback live. $138 / class (Nett proceeds will be donated to Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives) Watch it Live on social media: Prepare your own ingredients ahead of time and tune in on the day.
