The Prince George Folkfest Society (Coldsnap) will be presenting a fall live music show on October 22 and 23 at Uda Dune Baiyoh Conference Centre on Lheidli T’enneh territory. “Dak’et, Shun Inli” (Music in the Fall, in Dakelh), is presented with funding from Canadian Heritage and with support from Lheidli T’enneh First Nation and The City of Prince George. Coldsnap has featured an amazing array of fabulous Indigenous musicians over the years and we wanted to bring some back and invite some new ones! We will also have an art display, a traditional drum making workshop and musician’s workshops. The performances will be presented in front of a small live audience, if possible, but due to the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 situation in Northern BC, we will not be selling tickets at this time. We will, however, livestream the entire event at no charge to watch. Workshops will be presented on the Zoom platform and we will have details on how to register for these very soon. All activities will be carried out with COVID-19 safety protocols at top of mind. Please visit our website at http://www.coldsnapfestival.com in the coming weeks for further details.
