We’re back! The famed Cheese and Meat Festival returns to Vancouver this fall. The Festival will take place at the historic Pipe Shop on Saturday, November 6th. After a dynamic year of pivot projects, pandemic unknowns, and a further push towards the buy-local movement, we are pleased to announce that the Cheese and Meat Festival will return this fall. The Festival will take place on Saturday, November 6th at the beautiful Pipe Shop located in North Vancouver. The Festival will have three tasting sessions and seminars that will showcase the best of the local artisan food and beverage industry. “The pandemic allowed us to narrow our focus and develop a Festival alongside our amazing vendors and partners that will showcase over 40 different vendors who play off each other’s products. Our goal is to align our guests’ taste buds with new products and new pairings. A great example of this is chocolate, cheese, and beer, all of which will be at the Festival.” – David Bain, Festival Founder. Tickets are extremely limited for this year’s Festival. The pandemic has shifted how in-person events take place. The Festival will only be selling 50% of the capacity for each tasting until there is a clear direction of the Stage Four reopening plan. Tickets will be offered exclusively to newsletter subscribers before going on sale for the public. It is expected that these tickets will sell out very quickly. To sign up for the Festival’s newsletter, please visit http://www.cheeseandmeatfestival.com. Tickets went on sale to the general public on August 25th at 10:00 am. “The Cheese and Meat Festival showcases the best local artisan food and beverages that you’d find on or alongside a charcuterie board. Our goal is to introduce guests to new products and exciting pairings that delight their taste buds. The key is that guests can journey to the Festival as a one-stop shop to taste various products produced locally.”
