Shelters in BC providing essential services to some of the community’s most vulnerable populations are often overwhelmed and underfunded. This reality has been magnified by the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to support the women’s shelters throughout our province, CWI is hosting an item drive on Sunday, August 29, 2021. The item drive will run from 11am to 3pm at the Bentall Centre in Vancouver. In addition to the item drive, we will be fundraising throughout the summer to provide monetary support to the shelters as well.
