The Shadbolt Centre, Cory Weeds and The Cellar Music Group join forces to present an extraordinary day of jazz immersion featuring some of the finest musicians and singers from near and far. 11 different groups are slated to perform, including musicians from South Carolina, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Kansas City and of course many of Vancouver’s own. On tap are international headliners such as organist such as organist Chris Hazelton, drummer Roy McCurdy and tenor saxophonists Grant Stewart and Stephen Riley as well as local groups led by Brad Turner, Dave Robbins, Jill Townsend and many others. Travel from room to room to hear some of everything, or hang out in one room and enjoy a whole set! In addition, there will be roundtable discussions by the likes of archival record producer extraordinaire, Zev Feldman, and others. All on one day, all under one roof!
