HUSKIE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FOUNDATION PRESENTS: GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP. Girls Ages 13 and under – 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. Girls 17 and under – 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
OPEN TO GIRLS IN GRADES 8 THROUGH 12 OF ALL SKILL LEVELS. Featuring Guest Coach: KAYLA ALEXANDER. A widely accomplished basketball player in her 7th year as a professional athlete. She has played in the WNBA, overseas and is a current member of the Canadian Senior Women’s National Team. Before picking up the game of basketball, Kayla’s first love was art. Teaming up with her sister, Kesia to put her experiences on paper, Kayla spotlights both of her passions in her debut children’s book “The Magic of Basketball“. When Kayla is not playing basketball, writing or drawing, she enjoys giving back and speaking at various youth organizations and programs.
