Come and experience the sights and sounds of the 1920s, decked out in your finest flapper / gangster wear, and provide your support to a worthy cause. We created One Day for FA as a B.C. fundraiser aimed at raising awareness and $$ to discover better treatments and ultimately a cure for our children’s life-threatening disease. FA (or Fanconi anemia) is a rare genetic disease which leads to bone marrow failure, leukemia, and a high rate of cancers at a young age. By attending our event on the 16th of November or donating directly via our website, you are supporting not only our own local families, but thousands of other families around the globe, to help our children live long and productive lives. All proceeds from the evening will go to Fanconi Canada, which funds Canadian-based research that supports the international effort to find effective treatments and a cure for FA, and to provide education and support services to affected families worldwide.
