Both performers are renown in the wrestling industry as two of the very best. This is a match you don’t want to miss.” – “Canadian Crusher” AJ Sanchez WrestleMAX! is a Winnipeg based wrestling promotion owned and operated by Tyler Sigurdson and Curtis Howson. Both Tyler and Curtis have been involved in the local Winnipeg wrestling scene for many years. Tyler is better known to wrestling fans as the “Canadian Hercules” Tyler Colton. As the “Canadian Hercules”, he has travelled all over the world wrestling in Canada, USA, Germany, and most recently a two-month stint in China for OWE, which is a direct affiliate to AEW (All Elite Wrestling) best known for being the home promotion of Winnipegger’s Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. Along with wrestling, Tyler has been a competitive powerlifter and strongman, winning championships throughout North America. Curtis Howson has worked with local Winnipeg wrestling promotions as a promoter for over 10 years. He spreads the word of Winnipeg wrestling through his Friday afternoon wrestling segment on NCI 105.5FM radio and his podcast “Already In The Ring.” Curtis, who is a member of O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation, works with the Winnipeg School Division and with various Indigenous youth organizations in Manitoba, hopes to not only make WrestleMAX! a huge success in Winnipeg but also in Manitoba First Nations communities through offering workshops on drug and alcohol awareness, anti-bullying, healthy eating, habits and fitness conducted by well-known professional wrestlers in conjunction with events for the entire First Nations community. Tyler and Curtis hope to make WrestleMAX! more than just a wrestling promotion. Entertaining crowds will always be WrestleMAX!’s goal, however, assisting youth and the greater community will be a top priority.
