Charlotte Diamond with Matt Diamond

Charlotte Diamond is an internationally-recognized recording artist, composer and singer for children. Born and raised in British Columbia, she has become one of Canada’s favourite family performers, and has toured throughout North America, and even Central America and Europe, singing in English, French and Spanish. Charlotte now has fourteen recordings and a multitude of awards, including a Juno Award for her debut album, “10 Carrot Diamond”, a double platinum record. In 2016, Charlotte was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada by the Governor General of Canada for her contribution to children’s music and education. She was invited to attend the Investiture Ceremonies at Rideau Hall, Ottawa in August, 2017. Charlotte is accompanied by her son Matt, a recognized musician in his own right. Matt was the co-producer of Charlotte’s latest CD, “Diamonds by the Sea”. She will also be joined by the Hug Bug band, (Linnea Good and David Jonsson). The concert will feature Diamond favourites, like “Four Hugs a Day,”, “I am a Pizza” (Je suis une pizza) and “Octopus (Slippery fish)” as well as songs from Charlotte’s latest CD, “Diamonds by the Sea” – “Ottie the Otter”, “I Have Shoes and I Can Walk” and “Put the Beat in Your Feet” Her music appeals to children, parents and grandparents, too.
