When

A BACH FESTIVAL is a concert comprised of all the music of Bach.  Bigger centres like Montreal have huge Bach festivals that are multiple days and feature internationally famous performers.  Saskatoon’s first Bach festival will be a single concert encompassing multiple instruments.  The length of the concert is expected to be about two hours.  If the reception is good, we hope to do it again next year and have it more than one day with additional features, such as workshops/masterclasses, etc.

Instruments: Baroque Flute, Harpsichord, Pipe Organ, Piano, Violin and Voice.  Audience members are encouraged to attend in 17th or 18th century costumes as there will be prizes given for best Baroque costumes.

This will be a benefit concert for Christ Church Anglican (100% of the proceeds go to them).  Admission is on donation basis to support the church which is allowing us to use their facility.  The Christ Church Anglican seats 250 to 300 people.
