Golf Tournament

Diabetes Canada is delighted to be holding the Hecla Mining Company John Bowles Memorial Tournament on July 25, 2019 at one of BC’s finest courses, Quilchena Golf & Country Club in Richmond. Set on 120-acres of natural beauty with views of the ocean and the snow-capped Coast Mountains. It features good greens, tight layout and stunning vistas. This private club is named after the First Nations land it lies on, with “Quilchena” meaning running water, sweet water or many waters. After a fun day on the links, golfers will enjoy a delicious dinner, fine wine, auction and raffle, and an inspiring program in the country club. This year all the proceeds from this event will be benefitting children living with type 1 diabetes in BC, by supporting our very own Camp Kakhamela – an inspiring camp on the Sunshine Coast. Our campers experience a full range of camp activities in a safe, nurturing and empowering environment; supported by an exceptional team of medical staff, volunteers and counsellors.
