Short Program: Olaf Lutz, will offer a brief introduction to “Universe Sandbox 2“ software. Main Presentation: Christopher Cottle presents the first lecture of a two-part series on Astro Navigation. This lecture is entitled “Astro Navigation, Part One: Stars and the Cold War. Christopher was a Navigator in the Royal Canadian Navy in the days before GPS.
