SVP Calgary’s Fast Pitch Finals 2018

Join SVP Calgary at the 2018 Fast Pitch Finals on Thursday, November 1, for a high energy, fast moving, quick fire event. Finalists have just 3 minutes to share the mission, vision and promise of their organization with the audience and local celebrity judges. You can sit back, relax and enjoy a cocktail and appetizers while our contestants showcase months of hard work. You’ll hear from 8 innovative non-profits in our city and vote for your favourite! Fifteen local non-profits are working hard to perfect their ‘pitches’, through the SVP Calgary Fast Pitch program. Semi-finalists include: Empowering Minds, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Green Fools Theatre Society, Elizabeth Fry Society, HomeSpace Society, Soccer without Boundaries, Canadian Liver Foundation,Inside Out Theatre, Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association (HSCA), Junior League of Calgary, Silvera for Seniors, Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids, THIRD ACTion Film Festival Limited, Beads of Courage, and Plastic Free YYC. Finalists will be announced at the end of October. Social Venture Partners Calgary (SVPC) Fast Pitch program offers non-profits leaders in Calgary two months of free coaching from business professionals to help them refine their ideas for social innovation into compelling three-minute pitches.
