Giant Garage Sale for Peruvian Women Health

Come join us for the fourth annual garage sale at the Grandview Community Center to raise funds to support a Sombrilla supported women’s health project in Peru! There will be lots a huge range of great items for sale (everything from gadgets to furniture), including delicious baked goods, and a pelvic floor pilates class put on by one of the physiotherapists going on the trip! Come support a great cause and a have a fun Saturday filled with amazing finds, a fun exercise class, and delicious food. Sombrilla is an international organization that partners with communities in Latin America to improve the quality of life of citizens by addressing needs such as food, security, and health care. Every year, in collaboration with Sombrilla, an interdisciplinary team of Women’s Health specialists from the Royal Alexandra Hospital travel to Peru to promote sustainable improvements in Women’s Health in impoverished communities. This year’s garage sale proceeds will go directly to the next project in November. Garage Sale 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday June 23 Pelvic Floor Pilates Class @5pm led by Sarah Kalinocka (Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and STOTT Pilates Instructor) This year will also include delicious Guatemalan Pupusas and the proceeds will support Communities at Play!
