April 12 – May 5, 2018 Alberta Craft Gallery – 2nd floor Opening Reception April 12, 5-8 members and invited guests only “I search for and find metal that already holds its own history and story – then join that with other aged pieces to create a new story.” Windrum’s metal creations are made in a way that is reminiscent of the prairie ranchers’ methods – use what you have at hand to create something needed. She creates jewellery, low–relief sculptures, assemblages and metal collages and her pieces are constructed using traditional cold–connection jewellery techniques.
