The beat goes on with the Percussion Ensemble (April 8 at 2 p.m.). This dynamic group, directed by Brian Thurgood, features a virtual cornucopia of instruments that are struck or scraped. Often referred to as the “backbone” or “heartbeat” of an ensemble, these pivotal instruments are brought to the forefront by enthusiastic students. Come out and enjoy this ensemble performance of precision, timing and energy!
