French food lovers rejoice, For the fourth consecutive year, Vancouver will participate in Good France/Goût de France on March 21st, an international dining event where French and French-influenced restaurants around the world serve meals in celebration of French gastronomy. A record nine Vancouver restaurants have signed on to participate in 2018: Tableau Bar Bistro (1181 Melville Street), Bistro Pastis (2153 West 4th Avenue), Linh Café (2836 West 4th Avenue), La Brass (4473 West 10th Avenue), Provence Marinaside (1177 Marinaside Crescent), Bistro 41 (2156 West 41st Avenue), The French Table (3916 Main Street), Le Crocodile (100–909 Burrard Street), and Jules Bistro (216 Abbott Street). Reservations can be made by phone or through each restaurants’ websites. Founded in 2015 by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and renowned French chef Alain Ducasse in response to the addition of French gastronomy to the UNESCO World Heritage List, Goût de France is an annual dining event that toasts to French cooking and the joie de vivre that comes with it.
