On Thursday, March 1st, 2018, the North Shore Women’s Centre is hosting a benefit in recognition and celebration of International Women’s Day. We are honoured to have author, actor and playwright Carmen Aguirre, as our special guest and showcase a fantastic musical performance by Vancouver’s only all-female Mariachi band, Las Estrellas de Vancouver. Michelle Eliot, Journalist, Producer and Guest Host with CBC Radio One: On the Coast and BC Almanac will be the event emcee. We also will present a reception, a silent auction featuring an exciting array of items from local businesses, and a tapas buffet. Join us for a fun and memorable evening of celebration and fundraising to support the North Shore Women’s Centre and our programs and services for women and girls!
