The annual national quilt conference hosted by the Canadian Quilter’s Association/Association canadienne de la courtepointe. Workshops, lectures, shopping and spectacular quilts! Three days of workshops and lectures by some of Canada’s leading quilt teachers and guest teacher, Gloria Loughman from Australia. Huge merchant mall for shopping. Over 400 quilts on display including the National Juried Show, Cantik Batiks Youth Challenge, Trend-Tex Challenge, Quilted Postcard Challenge and visiting exhibitions from Taiwan, Inuvik and the Lower Mainland, CQA/ACC Rosette Quilts and the QuiltCon Travelling Exhibit. See some of the best quilts in Canada and from around the world! Help us raise funds for BC Children’s Hospital. Quilters across Canada created quilted postcards which will be for sale by donation at Quilt Canada. Come down and support the kids!
