Smoked Meat Popup on Valentines Day Barrel Chicken pulls it’s meat out this Valentines Day. On Wednesday, February 14th Barrel Chicken is hosting an unforgettable evening that questions, “What is Love?” with two seatings between 5PM and 10PM, taking place in a new popup event space at the Blue Sky Art Lofts, downtown Edmonton. Are you ready for a new flavour of Alberta Smoked BBQ? We’ve got you covered! This evening we’ll be serving up three new Alberta inspired recipes to enjoy with your sweetheart. Your evening begins with a crispy glass of bubbly and a tasty appy at the door. Mozzy about and check out the $500 gift give away prize while mingling with new Edmonton foodie friends. Once you make your way to your seat, you’ll enjoy the sweet sounds of Dave Von Bieker playing his original songs to get you pumped for what’s next! A three course meal straight off the barrel with smoky sweet flavours to challenge your taste buds. Starting with a cherrywood kissed asparagus fried quinoa salad tossed in a black olive vinaigrette. Next up you’ll try our famous Barrel Smoked Chicken with a twist, a breast stuffed with homemade Chorizo and topped with caramelized pear, tomatino salsa, paired with a southwestern style stuffing. To finish off the evening a shared dessert, curated by local cuisine artist – dessert specialist Caramelt. Tickets are available $130 a pair or $75 per. Guests receive one drink ticket each.
