GearUp4CF 1 & 3 day bike rides

We are excited to announce our 1 & 3 day rides for 2018: choose from 50km and 100km rides in Vancouver and a 3-day ride from Vancouver to Osoyoos. To date, GearUp4CF has raised more than $1.75 million – join us as we raise even more to achieve our vision of a world without cystic fibrosis. GearUp4CF is a charity cycling event with multiple distances for all levels of riders, including a three day to Osoyoos; this ride is supported with support vehicles, accommodation and food. Minimum fundraising commitment: • 50km ride – registration fee $50, minimum fundraising commitment $100 • 100km ride – registration fee $50, minimum fundraising commitment $150 • 3-day ride – Registration fee $150, minimum fundraising commitment $2,500 Cystic Fibrosis is the most common, fatal genetic disease affecting Canadians. Currently there is no cure. But there is hope. • Over 4,200 Canadian children, teens and adults are currently living with cystic fibrosis • Over 450 British Columbians have CF • Every week, 1 newborn in Canada is diagnosed with CF through newborn screening • Every week, 1 Canadian dies from CF • Half of all people that died from CF in 2016 were under 39 years old • One in every 3,600 children are born with CF • Cumulatively, Canadians with CF spent over 25,000 days in hospital* • *Cystic Fibrosis Canada Annual Report, 2016
