December 1st, Burlington City Hall with host the annual Chrstmas Tree Of Hope Lighing ceremony to kick off the season!
The Festival of lights will be kicking off at the same time so be sure to walk the stretch of Spencer smith and enjoy the light show of the season!
- WHAT: Opening of the Burlington Festival of Lights occurs in partnership with the Burlington Downtown Business Association (BDBA) Candlelit Stroll.
- WHEN: Friday, December 1, 6:30 pm.
- WHERE: Burlington City Hall, Civic Square (the front courtyard of City Hall on Brant Street – just north of Lakeshore). There’s a parking garage behind city hall on Locust Street.
All guests involved in the speaking portion of the evening are to meet at 6:30 pm in the front foyer of City Hall. Speaking portion of the night takes place from 6:40 to 6:55. This includes the lighting of the Tree of Hope and all remarks.
