From 1896 to 1914, millions of immigrants headed west with the promise of a better life, and they eventually built Western Canada. On Canada Day – our nation’s 150th birthday – a performance will debut at Heritage Park that draws parallels between the struggles of early settlers and those faced by new immigrants today!
Journey of a Lifetime tells of the trials, tribulations and triumphs of five of these brave settlers. Visit the Legislative Assembly Visitors Centre between November 13-18 to experience the story of our country’s settlers.
