Following Alzheimer’s Learning Month in September, Home Instead Senior Care in Vancouver is hosting a Coffee Break fundraiser in partnership with the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society to raise awareness about the disease and related forms of dementia. Members of the public are invited to drop in for coffee and treats, and are encouraged to make a small donation to support research and patient support. Shane Simpson, MLA for the riding of Vancouver-Hastings will be a guest of honour. Interview opportunities will be available.
