Barney Bentall established a sense of community through The Cariboo Express; a one of a kind event that brings together a dozen or more of Canada’s finest roots and country musicians to hearken back to a simpler down-home good time. Consisting of two generations of some of Canada’s finest roots and country musicians, The Cariboo Express is about laughter, storytelling, and the timeless sound of contemporary songwriters with great respect for tradition. The show is a heartfelt set of roots, folk and rock favourites, performed by an exceptional roster of friends and guests including Ridley Bent, Dustin Bentall, Wendy Bird, Kendel Carson, Leeroy Stagger and more. Backed by The Gold Rush All Stars, each song is performed by a different lead or collaboration, introduced with a unique monologue scripted by Bentall and co-host Matt Masters.
