The Cosmopolitan Music Society has been providing music performance and learning opportunities to residents of Edmonton and area since 1963. Our new season is underway and we invite you to join us for our annual Open House. This is a chance to get to know us, our programs and musicians and to tour our wonderful facilities. Live music, snacks and beverages, instrument demonstrations and more!
The Cosmopolitan Music Society is dedicated to the pursuit of musical excellence, providing performance and learning opportunities and to making a lasting contribution to the community.
We have seven ensembles operating this season that rehearse weekly and perform concerts “in – house”, at McDougall United Church and the Francis Winspear Centre for Music. These ensembles include our long-standing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday performance concert bands as well as our Chorus, Beginner Band, Jazz Big Band and Jazz Orchestra
