This year, the Gandhi Peace Festival is celebrating its 25th year anniversary, and the festival’s theme is “Moving Towards a Culture of Peace, Nonviolence, and Social Justice.” This free event is taking place at Hamilton City Hall (wheelchair accessible) on September 30th 2017, from 1-5pm and welcomes all to come. The festival includes dancing and live entertainment, a panel of speakers with experience in social justice causes, a peace march, and a vegetarian meal.
