Celebrate springtime at the 2017 Sakura Days Japan Fair (SDJF), a family-friendly, weekend Japanese festival, on Saturday April 8 from 11am to 7pm, and Sunday April 9 from 11am to 5pm. This annual celebration showcases the Japanese cultural arts, cuisine, and businesses of the local community. Musical performances on the “Cherry Stage” feature guests Kizuna from Japan, the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, and Uzume Taiko. New to the fair this year is an evening Sakura lantern procession on Saturday – design your own lantern and join us! Don’t miss the chance to experience Japan in the beautiful garden setting, and enjoy the tastes, sounds, and sights of the festival!
