The word “goitse” is an informal Gaelic greeting that means “come here” in English. The group’s name is an invitation for listeners to partake in their unique sound. Recently crowned Live Ireland’s “Trad Group of the Year” for 2015, they have made a name for themselves as one of the most sought after bands amongst connoisseurs of Irish traditional music.
