Granville Island Fix It & Clothing Swap

Fix it and a Clothing Swap on Granville Island! This time we’ve partnered up with really rad organizations to bring you a full day of fix its and a clothing swap at the fabulous Granville Island Hotel! Bring your favorite clothes to repair or bring your unwanted clothes to swap, and give a new life to your favorite piece of clothing or grab a new-to-you awesome item. This event is Free and it is possible thanks to the generosity of Erin Gravelle Styling, GIBCA and Granville Island Hotel. Here’s the plan: 10am – Fix it to start Bring any clothes or other textiles to repair and we’ll help each other fix. No experience necessary and all are welcome. We will provide with sewing machines and all sewing supplies needed including scraps for patching, needles, scissors, threads and other fun stuff. 11am – Clothing Swap Bring you unwanted clothes and grab any other piece of clothing you like. It’s completely FREE. If you like something that needs repair – just bring to the Fix It! All remaining clothes and accessories will be donated to a local charity. => Please come to the False creek & Alder Bay room at Granville Island Hotel. => Fix it and the clothing swap will continue until 4pm.
