Cenovus Energy 2026 Grey Cup Festival

Calgary will host the Cenovus Energy 2026 Grey Cup Festival from November 11 to 14, leading into the Grey Cup championship game at McMahon Stadium on November 15.

The festival will bring together football, live entertainment, family activities, western culture and fan experiences at venues throughout Calgary.

Grey Cup Arrival

The Grey Cup trophy will make a special appearance at Eau Claire Plaza on November 8, marking the start of the celebrations. The arrival is being presented in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces.

Street Festival

The free Street Festival will run November 12 to 14 at Stampede Park, stretching from the Big Four Roadhouse to the BMO Centre. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.

Visitors can expect live entertainment, pancake breakfasts, outdoor activities and a family-friendly licensed beer garden. Other features include Beacon XL, an interactive installation inspired by CFL locker rooms and stadiums, along with a nightly northern lights experience and drone show.

Family Zone

The BMO Centre Family Zone will offer free activities for families, including live entertainment, a toddler play area, football activities and opportunities to meet CFL alumni and players.

The space will also feature CFL Hall of Fame displays and traditional Indigenous games presented by Dodginghorse Ranch.

Accessibility features will include a sensory-friendly enclosed trailer, sensory kits and a dedicated Lil’ Fan Zone with private infant feeding and changing facilities.

Live Music

The Big Four Roadhouse will host a series of ticketed concerts throughout the festival.

• November 11: The Trews headline the kickoff party, which will also include a Remembrance Day acknowledgment.
• November 12: Alan Doyle featuring The Strumbellas.
• November 14: A country music concert, with the artist lineup to be announced.

Grey Cup Rodeo

Western culture will take centre stage on November 14 at the Nutrien Western Event Centre, with two rodeo performances featuring bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback and wild pony racing.

Alberta country artist Drew Gregory will also provide live music.

Girls in Sport Summit & Cheer Extravaganza

The Girls in Sport Summit takes place at the Scotiabank Saddledome on November 14. The event will bring together approximately 300 girls ages 8 to 14 for football or cheer clinics and confidence-building activities. No previous experience is required.

The summit will be followed by a Cheer Extravaganza featuring CFL cheerleading and dance teams from across Canada.

CFL Alumni Legends Luncheon

On November 13, more than 100 CFL alumni are expected at the CFL Alumni Association Legends Luncheon at the Big Four Roadhouse.

The event will also raise funds for the CFL Alumni Association Support Fund, which assists retired players experiencing hardship.

CFL Team Parties

Beginning November 12, CFL teams will host themed parties at the BMO Centre. The events will give fans an opportunity to celebrate their teams and take part in different team traditions and fan experiences.

Grey Cup Tailgate

On November 15, fans can take part in a free tailgate at McMahon Stadium before the championship game. The tailgate will run from 1 to 5 p.m. in the stadium’s east parking lot and will include food and entertainment.

An 18+ VIP tailgate will also be available, featuring covered and heated seating, stage-front access and upgraded food and beverage options.
