Enjoy an afternoon of keyboard masterpieces with acclaimed pianist Bruce Vogt, who will feature works from the elegance and brilliance of the French Baroque to the lyricism and depth of the Romantic era. The program includes pieces by Rameau, Chopin’s Nocturne in G Major and Mazurka in c-sharp minor along with Schubert’s monumental Sonata in B-flat Major, D. 960. The concert will open with an informal conversation between LCMS’ Artistic Director Elizabeth Bergmann and the artists, followed by complimentary coffee, tea and refreshments before the performance. The performance will take place in the Rose Gellert Hall and will last approximately 60 minutes, with no intermission. Pre-Concert Commentary & Coffee at 2:30 PM, Concert at 3:15.
