GlassArt is Saskatchewan’s premier exhibition of creations in glass by members of the Saskatoon Glassworkers Guild. It displays both traditional and contemporary glass work from stained glass to fused glass to blown glass. There are demonstrations of technique as well as a silent auction and the People’s Choice Award for the favourite piece in this year’s exhibition. The event is held at the Galleria Building at Innovation Place, one of Saskatoon’s best naturally lit venues. It runs from Friday April 17, 10:00 am to Sunday April 19 at 5:00 pm with an opening reception Friday at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free although donations are welcome.
