Vancouver’s acclaimed adult treble choir Elektra presents If the Earth Could Sing, a compelling multimedia concert exploring climate, landscape, and place through music, poetry, and projected imagery. Highlights include Unsung, If the Earth Could Sing by Vancouver composer Katerina Gimon (texts by poet Lauren Peat), and the world premiere of Songs from the Lytton Fire by JUNO nominee Andrew Staniland, setting poetry by Lytton Fire survivor Meghan Fandrich.
