Come out and celebrate World Wetlands Day! Learn about why our wetlands are so important for wildlife, along with us and our communities. Meet some of the people working work to protect our natural areas and maybe find an organization you would like to get involved with. Meet an owl, check out some wetland insects, learn about a traditional weaving craft using cattails, and sit in on a reading for children by Sherry McMillan the author of “What the Seal Saw”,” What the Raccoon Saw” and “What the Blackbird Saw”. There will be tours of the salmon hatchery and guided walks along the Tatalu / Little Campbell river.
